After the shows his makeup is barely there and you can actually see his face for what it is. This never lasts long.
Anymore, he won't go on stage without it. In the photo album under your pillow you can see the transformation take place one still after another, increasing over the years.
Sometimes in the heat of the moment you can't stand it anymore and you kiss him, pulling the colour off his perfect lips, scattering it around his mouth. For his part he sighs, moving towards the mirror, cosmetic bag in hand, leaving you alone in the dark.
